The absolute minimum hardware requirements to run CliniMed are:

Stand-Alone Computer Installations:
• Intel Pentium IV 1Ghz w/ 256 Mb RAM.
• Windows XP
• 15" screen, resolution set at 800x600 and colors 
• Tape back-up.
• One HP LaserJet Printer with PCL5 emulation .
• 56 Kbs modem w/ phone line connection.

Networked Installations:

File Server

• Must be dedicated - For all CliniMed Products with the exception to CliniMed Office Suite, which runs on both a dedicated file server and a peer to peer network.
• Pentium IV 2Ghz/ 512 MB RAM
• Tape back-up.

Work Station:

• Intel Pentium III 800 Mhz  w/64 Mb RAM.
• Windows 98/NT or XP
• 15" screen, resolution set at 800x600 

Network Characteristics

• Novel 4x,5x or 6x / Windows NT 4.0/2000 network operating system - up, running, correctly configured and mapped.
• At least one HP LaserJet Printer with PCL5 emulation.
• At least one work station must have 56 Kbs modem w/ phone line connection and an installed copy of PCAnywhere 32.
